We started our working day with the discussion: "How we can make the world a better place" Our students shared their ideas and were motivated for fruitful work. Then we listened to the song, did tasks aimed to raise students' awareness of our main topic: "Sustainable development goals".

Our students learnt how to relate key issues to their own lives developing critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, citizenship, digital literacy.
We worked in groups trying to point out which goal is important for our country, our local community and what we can do to solve this problem.

 

We want our children to become responsible, global citizens in the future. That's why we discussed Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals

 It ensures that countries and people work together to achieve the goals. Our students communicated with their peers from Sweden. It was really cool.
We had a game Mystery Skype with a teacher class Anna Nilsson (Sweden, Skellefteå) - 240 virtual miles.

We watched video "A plastic ocean", did exercises, had a fair of ideas: "If you go down to the sea today..."
